"My review on Autobody Images is based on two experiences.
The first one was back in 2012 when my friend hit the back of my bumper, and he recommended me to go to Autobody Images to get the work done. I was really nervous since my car was relatively new (one-years-old at the time), and I have never been in an accident before. Due to my naivety, I simply assumed that all auto shops were shady, and I didn't know what kind of expectation to have. Anyway, Joe, the manager, quoted my friend at $500 to replace the rear bumper without having getting my insurance involved. When I came back to pick up my car, I was so stunned by how good my car looked. I was very pleased, and knew that if anything happened again, I would make an effort to come back here.
Fast forward in 2013, I got my right car door swiped by some jerk in D.C. I didn't call the police right away to file a report, so I had to pay a full deductible for the damages. I didn't have the money at the time, but I went over to Autobody Images to see if I could get an affordable quote that would be less than my $500 deductible. The quote ended up being more than my deductible, and I knew that I couldn't afford to fork over the money just yet. I seriously mulled over this decision for TWO YEARS.
I finally came back to Autobody Images a week ago because I had the money to fork over and fix my car door. My insurance said that the work should only take no more than five days, but Autobody Images took about seven business days to complete. I was pretty agitated because I didn't know when I would be stuck with my rental, and I just wanted to get my car back already. The customer service has been nothing but stellar when they dealt with my frustrations of waiting. Not going to lie, but my temper was at its peak when I've been promised that my car would be done on the last day by noon, but it ended up being done by 4pm. I felt pretty upset because I came from D.C. and the traffic gets pretty horrible around that time. Anyway, Joe explained to me why there was a hold-up, and I completely understood that things happen. I didn't blow my temper at him because at the end of the day, he and Erin (Aaron?) have been nothing but kind and courteous to me. Joe delivered great customer service; he even remembered that I had some buffing marks that I wanted to get done, which he worked on before returning the car to me. Due to delay and inconvenience, Joe gave me a discount --- which completely made my jaw drop. That's the kind of customer service I'm talking about! Joe cares, and he wants you to know that he cares. So spread the word, all! You won't be disappointed with the work."

"This is the second place I came to get an estimate for body work, and not only did they beat the price by 20% they also beat the repair time by HALF !! definitely did not want a rental car for 2 weeks, thank god I found this place. “I've taken my Prius in to Autobody Images twice in the last year, both times needing MAJOR reconstructive work after car accidents. If the Prius weren't so valuable it would have been totaled both times. Each time, Autobody Images made it look like brand new! The first time they reconstructed the whole front, and the second time was the entire driver's side. Everyone there is super nice, and if I have any issues they let me bring it in and they check it out and fix it. I highly recommend them...while I hope I never have another car accident, we will be bringing all our cars here if we ever do!”
“My insurance company referred me to this body shop to repair my car. I got rear ended and my car's bumper needed to be replaced. There was no other damage, so this was relatively minor body work. The employees here were all very friendly and responsive, both on the phone and in the shop. They repaired my bumper in 4 days. My car is about 9 years old, but they did a perfect job matching the paint. They also said that they offer lifetime guarantee on the paint, but hopefully I won't need that. Not that it was such a big deal, but it was nice that they also cleaned my car, inside and out.
My work was covered by insurance, but cost breakdown was: $300 for parts, 2.1 hours of body labor at $42/hr = $88, 4.2 hours of paint labor at $42/hr = $176, 4.2 hours of paint supplies at $28/hr = $117. Total was $725. Not sure how that compares to other shops, but I figure it might be useful to others for comparisons.
In summary, a good experience. I didn't pay, so I'm not positive how the prices compare.”
“I just had my bumper replaced and I couldn't be happier. I was recommended to come to Auto Body Images by my regular mechanic at Spirit Led Auto and I'm very happy with the results. My car was rear ended and needed to be replaced. The individual that rear ended me has State Farm Insurance and State Farm would be claiming fault and paying. Thankfully Auto Body Images has a claims adjuster who could evaluate the car. This is my first time having an accident and needing car repair but Dave McPherson took the time to explain everything involved in getting the car fixed and made it a smooth process. Besides the initial reporting of the accident to State Farm that I did, Dave took care of the rest with the insurance company when the car went into the shop. Dave contacted me when the mechanic saw the car and realized the damage was more than the initial evaluation, he then contacted State Farm and the rental company to keep them informed. On the day of pickup, I was even offered to leave the rental at the shop and they contacted the rental company to come get it, which was one less trip for me, very nice. When I picked up my car it had been washed and vacuumed out, sweet! Going into this process I didn't know what to expect but I'm very impressed with their customer service and effort in making the repairs a smooth process and appreciate them going above and beyond. I would definitely recommend them..”
